Day One: Flagstaff,
Williams, Tusayan or the South Rim are the best cities to start this
trip. From your hotel head out to the
South Rim on an exciting Grand Canyon Tour. Awesome vistas, ancient ruins, and a picnic
lunch are all part of the day. After a stop at Desert View
Watchtower, you'll leave Grand Canyon National Park for the Cameron
Trading Post, a great place to check out authentic native art. From
here, a few hours drive across the Navajo Reservation will take you Lake Powell and hotel check-in.
Day Two: Leaving Lake
Powell behind, you'll pass Glen Canyon Dam, traversing the boundary of
Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, and the unparalleled
scenery of Southern Utah, until you reach Zion National Park. Spend
the day exploring Zion in all its splendor, or take a tour with the
Zion Field Institute, before you make the scenic drive back to Page for
a good night's rest.
Day Three: Your Southwest Tour
continues with the wonders of Canyon Country. The day begins with
a Jeep ride to Antelope Canyon, one of the world's most famous slot
canyons. Once here, a Navajo guide will lead a tour along the gentle
floor of Antelope Canyon for some once in a lifetime
photo opportunities. After exploring Antelope
Canyon, try a short hike to Horseshoe Bend for one of the best views of
the Colorado River anywhere. After an exciting morning head to historic Flagstaff, AZ.
Day Four: From Flagstaff you'll drive through scenic Oak Creek Canyon to Sedona, AZ for breathtaking redrock views, and a self guided tour through two of Sedona's most popular destinations. After exploring Slide Rock and Red Rock State Parks, enjoy the Arizona desert en route back to your city of origin.
