Where Is Sedona?

Sedona is located 120 miles north of Phoenix in Arizona's central mountains, and is 30 miles south of Flagstaff. It can be accessed through US 89A, which passes directly through town, or from I-17 by way of AZ 179.

When Should I Go & What’s The Weather Like?

The weather is best in the spring and fall, and this is also when you will find the most people. Sedona is in the high desert, so summer temperatures can exceed the 100’s, cooling down considerably at night.  Monsoon season is from the beginning of July through early September, bringing storms at a moment’s notice and the potential for flash floods in Oak Creek Canyon.   Sedona sits at almost 4,500 ft in elevation and it can snow in the winter.

What’s There To Do?

Sedona offers exciting opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast and relaxing options for those seeking rest and renewal. Some of the greatest mountain biking in the country is found in these red rocks. Spectacular hiking and swimming holes are found all along Oak Creek and throughout the formations. Jeep Tours provide a different perspective while offering the opportunity for further exploration. World-renowned high end resorts and spas will cater to your every whim as you take in the stunning views. Fantastic restaurants and bars are sprinkled throughout town.
