One Day Smoothwater Rafting

If you want to enjoy the beauty of the Colorado River without the whitewater rapids, this is the trip for you.  The smoothwater rafting trip takes place in Glen Canyon National Recreation area a few miles above Grand Canyon National Park.  The trip begins outside of Page, AZ  at Lake Powell's Glen Canyon Dam, and ends at historic Lee's Ferry. 

From Page, you'll take a  two mile ride through the Glen Canyon Dam Access Tunnel will bring you to the bottom of the Dam, where you'll start your journey down the Colorado River on this amazing Smooth Water Rafting Tour.  A trip the whole family can enjoy, this 15 mile ride will bring you past towering sandstone cliffs to historic Lee's Ferry.  Ancient pictographs, desert wildlife, and awesome vistas await!  After a relaxing day on the River you'll continue your tour in a comfortable coach bus or van, with a beautiful drive accross the Navajo Indian Reservation to Page Arizona.

Total Trip Length- One Day

Are there any age or physical fitness requirements?

Participants for this trip must be 4 years of age or older.  This is a smoothwater rafting trip with water temperatures of 45 degrees, and all participants should be fit and comfortable in these conditions. 

When is the best time of year to book a trip?

Smoothwater rafting is available March 1st through November 30th

March 1 - April 30
Daily departure at 11:00 a.m.
Return to Page by approximately 4:30 p.m.
Meet in Page at 10:30 a.m.

May 1 - September 30
Two Daily departures at 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Return to Page by approximately 12:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Meet in Page at 6:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

October 1 - November 30
Daily departure at 11:00 a.m.
Return to Page by approximately 4:30 p.m.
Meet in Page at 10:30 a.m.

How soon should I book my trip?

Although trips can be booked at any time from one days to two years in advance, at least 3 months' notice is advised due to limited availability.

Are there any limits on group size?

There are no group size limits for this trip

Adults $74 (plus $16 river use & booking fee)

Children 4-11 $64 (plus $16 river use & booking fee)

Booking/Cancellation Policy

-100% of the total trip cost is due upon booking

-72 hours notice is required for a refund if you cancel your trip.  A $16.00 Cancellation fee per person will be charged if the trip is canceled.

-Gratuity for your guides is not included, but is greatly appreciated

-Travel insurance is recommended in case of emergency or unforeseen circumstances
