Kokopelli's Trail

Day One:
This Adventure Package is a great way to see the best the Grand Canyon has to offer in only 3 days.  Tusayan AZ or the South Rim are the best cities to start from, but Flagstaff, Williams, or Sedona will work as well. Once you're up and ready to explore, head out to the South Rim an take an exciting Grand Canyon tour or guided hike before heading to Peach Springs, AZ for lodging that evening. Get a good night's rest, before you enjoy a full day of Grand Canyon whitewater rafting.

Day Two:
This is the only one-day whitewater rafting trip in the Grand Canyon. Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the Hualapai Indian Reservation to Diamond Creek. Once you're geared up and on the mighty Colorado River, it's a short boat ride and a quick hike to picturesque Travertine Falls. After the falls, the real adventure begins as you descend several major rapids, including Honeymoon Rapid and its Fangs! After the technical whitewater, the Colorado River will calm for infinite photo opportunities, wildlife sightings, and a unique cultural history lesson from your Native River Guides. Then it's a helicopter flight up to the Grand Canyon's Rim and shuttle back to your hotel in Peach Springs.

Days 3-4:
After a day of South Rim grandeur, you'll spend the next three days at Havasu Falls.  There can be no question that Havasu Canyon is one of the most amazing destinations on earth. "Havasupai" means "people of the blue-green water," and it is their sacred home you'll be visiting on your journey. This adventure begins at Hualapai Hilltop, following a 10 mile trail through beautiful red rock canyons to your awe-inspiring camp below the Falls. En route to your destination we will pass through towering cliffs, by ancient pictographs, and across pristine streams to Supai Village- the only place in the Grand Canyon still inhabited by native people. From here, you can access world- renowned Navajo, Havasu, Mooney, and Beaver Falls. These spectacular turquoise waterfalls are heralded by pristine travertine pools, making some of the world?s best swimming holes and most spectacular hikes.

Day 5:
Have a little breakfast and get an early start for your trek back through Havasu Canyon to the trailhead.  Reminisce about a great adventure en route to your next destination.

Day 6:
Following a the hike to Havasu Falls, head to Sedona to check out two of its most sought after destinations: Red Rock and Slide Rock State Parks. After hiking through Sedona's Red Rocks, make your way to your next Grand Canyon Area destination.

“May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds."
